Environmentally Friendly

Ever wonder about the CFCs, the chlorofluorocarbons, that leak from your air conditioning unit? Where do they go? What about the refrigerants collected from old air conditioners? What do they do with them? Hopefully these harmful chemicals are collected, recycled, and redistributed back into new and existing air conditioners. But, no matter how hard we try, some CFCs are emitted into the atmosphere. Certainly not good for the environment! Oh sure, there are "acceptable" standards, but in the end, almost everyone uses air conditioners and therefore has some responsibility for emitting these harmful chemicals back into the air. Not so with evap coolers! No CFC's, no chemicals, no ozone-damaging refrigerants. Just cool, clean, fresh air!
